The wait for the students who appeared in the board examination conducted by the CBSE Board may now be over. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon declare the results of classes 10th and 12th. As soon as the result is released, the students will be able to check their scores by visiting the official website of the board. CBSE conducted the 10th and 12th examinations this year from 15 February to 4 April 2025, in which about 42 lakh students participated. If we look at the result schedule of previous years, it can be guessed that this year also the results can be released anytime in the first or second week of May.

According to media reports, the result was released on 24 May in the year 2024 and on 12 May in 2023. Looking at the same pattern, this time too the result is expected to be declared around 12 May 2025. However, the official date has not been announced by the board yet.

How many marks are required to pass?

To pass the CBSE exam, students are required to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject. Apart from this, CBSE's 9 point grading system is also applicable.

Students who get 100 to 91 marks are given A1 grade. Those with 90 to 81 marks are given A2 grade and grades are given downwards in this order, where E grade is considered the lowest.

Where and how to see the result?

After the result is released, students will be able to check their score by visiting official websites like cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in. Apart from this, the result can also be seen through DigiLocker app and SMS service. Students are advised to keep the details of their admit card with them while checking the result.
