After the governments of Assam and Maharashtra declared that the inquiry against him was over, a bench of Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar Singh loosened the requirement.

The court instructed Allahbadia to request the restoration of his passport by contacting the Maharashtra Cyber Police Bureau.

Senior attorney Abhinav Chandrachud, who was representing Allahbadia, was also informed by the top court that his request to combine the FIRs against his client and present them in one location at the next hearing will be taken into consideration.

The top court ordered Allahbadia to submit his passport with the investigating officer of Police Station Nodal Cyber Police, Thane, on February 18, preventing him from being arrested in many FIRs related to his remarks made during a YouTube program.

On March 3, the Supreme Court granted Allahbadia permission to restart his podcast, “The Ranveer Show,” provided that it adheres to “morality and decency” and is appropriate for listeners of all ages.

BeerBiceps, also known as Allahbadia, was booked for remarks he made about parents and sex on the “India’s Got Latent” YouTube series hosted by comedian Samay Raina.

At first, Allahbadia was prohibited by the Supreme Court from broadcasting any of his podcast programs that directly or indirectly addressed the merits of the subjudice cases he was engaged in.

The highest court awarded Allahbadia temporary protection from arrest on February 18, describing his remarks as “vulgar” and claiming that his “dirty mind” embarrassed society.

In addition to Allahbadia and Raina, comedians Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija are also included in the Assamese case.
