Reliance Consumer Brands has become the fastest-growing FMCG company in the country due to its continuous growth in its second year of operations. The company reported overall sales of Rs 11450 crore for FY25after the aggressive expansion in general trade. This growth led to a 3.5x year-on-year increase in sales during the fourth quarter. Its beverage brand Campa also recorded 10% market share in some of the markets.
The company is planning an expansion to reach 5–6 million stores in the next three years. At the end of the March quarter its total store reach was 1 million.
As compared to its competitors Reliance Consumer Brands performance was exceptional. Hindustan Unilever topped with Rs 61469 crore in 12-month sales then Nestle India at Rs 20202 crore and ITCs FMCG segment at Rs 19559 crore. Britannia and Dabur recorded sales of Rs 17580 crore and Rs 12548 crore respectively. Despite being a newer player Reliance Consumer’s Rs 11450 crore in sales made it to reach near Dabur and above Tata Consumer whose sales was Rs 11241 crores. Reliance also beat bigger players like Marico in terms of sales.
Shares of Reliance Industries surged by 3.7% on Monday trading at Rs 1370.50 after the company’s fourth-quarter results. Analysts After the unexpected growth in the retail business share market sentiments moved positively for the company.
