'Will Give 2 Tight Slaps To Aurangzeb, British': Vijay Deverakonda Says Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna's Chhaava 'Deeply Affected' Him

Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently attended the pre-release event of Suriya's upcoming film, Retro, and while at it, he revealed how he was left feeling angry and outraged after watching Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's film, Chhaava. He stated that if he could, he would go back in time and slap Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.During the event, the host asked Vijay if there is one historical figure he would like to go back in time and meet, to which he replied, "I want to meet the British and give them two tight slaps. I recently watched Chhaava, and it enraged me. I’d probably take the opportunity to give Aurangzeb two to three tight slaps also.""I want to meet so many others like that, just to hit them. Right now, it’s all I can think of," he added.During the same event, he also condemned the terror attack in Pahalgam, that killed 26, and stated that Pakistanis need good education so as to not get brainwashed."The solution to what is happening in Kashmir is also to educate them (Pakistanis) and ensure they don’t get brainwashed. What will they achieve? Kashmir belongs to India, and Kashmiris are ours. Two years ago, I shot for Kushi in Kashmir. I have such good memories with the locals," he shared.Post the Pahalgam attack, Vijay had revealed that he had celebrated his birthday in Kashmir during the shoot of his film, Kushi. "What happened yesterday is heartbreaking and infuriating - calling yourself a Force and shooting tourists is the most shameful embarrassing and cowardly act of dumb terrorism hiding behind guns. We stand with the victims and their families. We stand with Kashmir. And I hope these cowards are cleaned out. Swiftly. India will never bow to terror (sic)," he had posted. On the work front, Vijay is currently busy with the shoot of his next, titled Kingdom, which is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
