A golden opportunity has come up for the youth preparing for government jobs. Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Fisheries Department. How many posts will be recruited?

What is the qualification?

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) must have a three-year diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Planning or Construction Technology from any AICTE-recognized technical institute. Note that the diploma course should be regular, a diploma obtained through distance education will not be valid.

Age limit

Talking about the age limit, as of January 1, 2025, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years. At the same time, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.

This application fee will have to be paid.

Candidates will have to pay the application fee for this recruitment. General category candidates applying will have to pay a fee of Rs 297.20. Whereas OBC / MOBC and SC / ST / BPL / PwBD category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 197.20 and Rs 47.20.
