In such a situation, you have to choose a thing which is tasty as well as healthy. Today we are going to tell you the recipe for a cutlet that meets both these parameters. We are talking about cutlets made from jowar flour. You can make this recipe in just two spoons of oil. Jowar flour is low in gluten and calories, which makes it an ideal option. You can make it by adding your favorite vegetables. Once it is ready, serve it with mint chutney or sauce. After eating it, everyone will praise it, whether it is young or old.
Ingredients
1 cup jowar flour
1/2 cup grated cabbage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Salt as required
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp curd
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Recipe
- In a bowl, add jowar flour, chopped cabbage, onion, carrot and green coriander.
- Now add ginger-garlic paste, salt, black pepper, curd, dry mango, cumin powder and red chili powder. Mix them well.
- Using your hands, knead the ingredients into a dough. Knead the dough in such a way that softballs are formed.
- Now make small balls from the dough and press from the center to flatten them.
- Add 2 tbsp oil to the pan and add the cutlets. Cover them with a lid and let them cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Flip to the other side and cook until crispy and golden brown.
- Once cooked, the jowar cutlets are ready to serve.
- Serve them with mint chutney, ketchup and enjoy.
