Tata Technologies Share Price After Monday's stormy boom in the Indian stock market, the game of recession is being seen. On the other hand, the market jumped 300 points in the beginning of Tuesday, now the market is doing flat trades. During this time, block deal is visible in the domestic market. Among the oldest industrial houses in the country, Tata Group, Tata Technologies stock has pushed the emphasis on the emphasis on the block deal.

Sales emphasis in Tata Group shares

Tata Technologies shares fell 5% today, causing time to hit the heads of investors. Reason? TPG Rise Climate has sold 1.6 crore shares of a company worth about Rs 1,094 crore through a block deal. The deal is equivalent to 3.95% equity of the company and now the seller will have to wait for the next 60 days as the lock-in period is implemented. Bofa Securities played the role of banker in this entire transaction.

Tata Technologies recently presented the results of the March 2025 quarter, with the company's profit up by 20% to Rs 189 crore compared to the previous year. Also, the revenue was Rs 1,286 crore, which was slightly less than Rs 1,301 crore in the previous year. Apart from this, Ebitda was Rs 233.5 crore while the margin was reduced by 18.2 percent. To make the shareholders happy, the company also declared a final dividend of Rs 8.35 and a special dividend of Rs 3.35.

Meanwhile, special analysts have different opinions on the shares of Tata Technologies who entered the market a year and a half ago. Of the 15 analysts following Tata Technologies, 11 have recommended 'selling' while only 4 have recommended 'buying'. The same, earlier on Monday, the company's stock rose by 1.54% to close at Rs 703.85 but, this year has fallen by 21% so far this year.

What is a block deal?

Block deal means the purchase and sales of a large number of shares in the stock market, which differ from normal market behavior. This transaction is usually done by institutional investors (ie mutual funds, insurance companies). It simultaneously procure or sold some stocks, which determines the stock exchange. Block deals impact market prices and are made through private interactions.
