New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given an open exemption to the country's armies to take decisive action against terrorism. After the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the PM made it clear that the army has complete exemption to fix the time, target and way of retaliation. He said that the army is capable of taking any necessary steps to give a befitting reply to the terrorists.

The Prime Minister said that the Army, Navy and Air Force will not have to face any obstacle in taking action against terrorism. The decision was taken after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which innocent civilians were targeted.

The PM insisted that India maintains the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and the army is free to eliminate this threat from the root. He appreciated the ability and dedication of the army and said that the country has full faith in its armies.

Who was involved in the meeting?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high -level meeting in this regard on Tuesday, which included Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief, Navy Chief and Air Force Chief.

The meeting reviewed the Pahalgam attack in detail and the strategy of immediate and effective action against terrorism was discussed. The PM reiterated in the meeting that India's resolve is to completely crush terrorism. The PM expressed full confidence in the capacity and strength of the country's armies.

According to sources, after the attack, India has activated its intelligence agencies and terrorist bases across the border are being monitored.

Apart from this, a target campaign is likely to be carried out against the terrorists on the basis of intelligence.
