Three alumni of IIT Bombay – Nikunj Malpani, Anurag Meena and Prateek Lodha – have prepared a mobile app that can give accurate results of more than 11 investigations to blood and kidney in just 30 seconds. The name of this app is 'Neodax', which is based on Artificial Intelligence.
This app is installed in mobile and combined with a special device. With the help of a strip of only ₹ 20 and smartphone, this entire system turns into a moving mobile lab. Urine albumin-creatinine ratio, glucose, protein, ketone, creatinine, leukocytes, nitrites, pH, specific gravity and blood microelbumin. In this, AI algorithm scanns the color and intensity of the strip through the photo.

The Neodax app is capable of testing even without internet. However, internet or Wi-Fi is required to see the report. Its special thing is that this system reduces the cost of investigation along with reducing the load on the health system. This innovation has also been appreciated at the Startup Mahakumbh. Neodax has also got the cooperation of institutions like Google and Omidyas.
