Thousands of Vinted users have reported outages on the popular app.

The second-hand clothing marketplace has been experiencing issues over the last 24 hours, with 5,000 reporting problems on the outage tracker Downdetector.

Problems on the app appear to have esculated within the past hour with the number of people reporting problems surging to the thousands.

Frustrated users have taken to social media to report the problem.

One user said on X: "Great, been needing to put things on vinted for ages. Finally got all my clothes out wardrobes, taken lots of pics and Vinted is down."

"In the UK and can confirm that vinted is currently down here", said a second.

Another said: "Anyone else's Vinted down and just stuck on the loading screen?"

A fourth added: "Of course Vinted is down when I need to send parcels."

The majority of issues reported so far relate to the app, however a smaller number of problems have also been flagged with the website. Reports of the outage started at around 2:30pm.

Founded in 2008 Vinted has seen a rise in popularity in recent years thanks to the growing demand for affordable, second hand clothes and the platform's user-friendly design.
