Top of the list is Burnley. The Lancastrian town takes first prize when it comes to the cheapest average pint in the country. Punters typically have to part with just £2.50 per pint. What's more, the town is home to 35 pubs with an average Google rating of 4.46 out of 5, so there are plenty of cracking places to choose from.
Joint-second are Bury - just 40 minutes down the road from Burnley - and Gloucester, in the south-west of England. Both towns have an average pint price of just £2.75, so long-weekend revellers will get plenty of bang for their buck.
Coming in joint-third is the only town in the south-east with an average pint of £3 and another town in the north-west. Enter: Harlow, Essex, and St Helens, Merseyside.
