Vindhya Expressway: The government of Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is constantly trying to expand the road network of the state. Recently, a new and important project, Vindhya Expressway has been approved. This expressway will spread from Prayagraj to Sonbhadra, which is 320 km of total length and Rs 22,400 crore will be spent on its construction. Residents of hundreds of villages of districts associated with this expressway will get better traffic facilities.

The benefit of this expressway will directly benefit the residents of districts like Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Bhadohi. This route will work to connect Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh with Uttar Pradesh, which will boost trade and tourism. Along with this, Vindhya Purvanchal Link Expressway will also be constructed, which will improve the transport system of the area and make the journey more easy.
Tourism and industrial development will get new direction
The Yogi government is planning to develop a new religious tourism sector including Prayagraj, Varanasi, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Ghazipur and Jaunpur. This will increase the number of tourists at Kashi, Sangam city Prayagraj and other major religious places. If the government is successful in this scheme, it will strengthen the local economy. Through the Vindhya Expressway, not only will tourism be boosted, but industrial development will also get a new direction. The region plans to set up a mega industrial park, which will provide employment to local youth and accelerate business activities.
