If you are planning to start your own business, don’t delay. The interest-free loan applications under this scheme are filling up fast. UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s initiative is quickly becoming the first choice for the state’s youth to begin their entrepreneurial journeys.
In just 30 days, the scheme has received 48,086 applications, out of which:
40,635 have been forwarded to banks
9,867 have been approved by banks
5,838 applicants have already received the funds
Last year, the government had targeted 1 lakh beneficiaries and received over 1.78 lakh applications, resulting in 28,000+ disbursements.
Jaunpur is leading in loan disbursement, with 1,397 applications and 257 loans disbursed already.
Agra ranks second, with 986 applications, of which 197 loans have been disbursed.
Hapur stands third with 516 applications and 167 loans given.
Jhansi and Gorakhpur follow with 143 and 134 loans disbursed respectively.
Other notable performers include Bareilly, Azamgarh, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Kanpur Nagar.
The scheme is not open for all business types—some categories are excluded from receiving the ₹4.5 lakh interest-free loan. (A list is available in official guidelines.)
