In Haryana, 22 proposals have been approved in a cabinet meeting organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Saini. An important decision has been taken in this meeting, under which financial assistance will be provided to Haryanvi artists.
The government has approved the Pandit Lakhmichand Artist Social Honor Scheme, under which Haryanvi folk artists will get pension every month.
Under this scheme, artists with 60 years of age and 20 years of experience will be provided monthly assistance. Artists whose annual income is up to 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees, will be given a monthly honorarium of 10 thousand rupees.
At the same time, whose income is between 1 lakh 80 thousand and 3 lakh rupees, they will get a pension of 7 thousand rupees every month.
