BLACKPINK ’s Lisa faces backlash on social media after her controversial MET Gala outfit, which she donned on May 5. ‘The White Lotus’ star was seen wearing a prominent figure, Rosa Parks ’s face, on the lingerie.

What did Lisa wear?On the night of the MET Gala, Lisa wore a netted fabric suit attached with pearls along with a pearl necklace and a gold chain as a waistband. While the faces were stitched along with the fabric, the K-pop singer has been receiving hate for wearing underpants with notable faces, especially Rosa Parks.

Not the first time being called out for derogatory gestures?One user pointed out, “despite saying the n-word multiple times and never apologizing, Lisa doesn’t seem to care as she wears underwear with images of ROSA PARKS, a civil rights icon who fought against racial injustice.”

This is certainly not the first time that Lisa or her band has been called out. Previously, the clips of K-pop idols using racial slurs and derogatory terms for people of colour in front of the audience went viral. Neither of the BLACKPINK members reacted to the clips, nor did they apologise.
