Robert, Ma’s ex-husband, shared their marriage certificate on social media on May 1, claiming that her infidelity was the cause of their marriage breakdown, as reported by Sinchew. He said, “When I found out Ma was cheating, I was furious. I demanded a divorce and refused to pay alimony.”

“However, Ma filed a lawsuit against me, seeking compensation for ‘failure to uphold marital obligations,’” he added.

He also explained that he felt compelled to speak out due to threats he had received, which he claimed had negatively impacted both his personal and professional life. In response, Ma stated that her ex-husband should contact the authorities if he feels threatened. Concerning his other claims, she simply remarked, “Let the lawyers handle everything.”

Meanwhile, Wang seemed unfazed by the controversy surrounding his young wife. During a livestream on May 1, he enthusiastically shared his travel experiences in Beijing and spoke fondly of his children. He revealed that his wife had bought a variety of clothes and hats for the kids, expressing his appreciation: “I’m fortunate to have someone like her who takes care of everything so thoroughly and treats my children as if they were her own. I’m truly moved.”

Additionally, a source revealed that renowned Chinese wedding dress designer Lan Wu recently declined to design a gown for Ma, citing her deep admiration and respect for Wang’s late ex-wife, Hsu.

Hsu, famous for her roles in dramas such as “Meteor Garden,” “Mars,” and “Summer’s Desire,” passed away at the age of 49 in Japan due to complications from pneumonia.

Wang, 44, and Hsu married in 2011 but divorced in 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Following their divorce, Hsu reconnected with her former boyfriend, South Korean musician DJ Koo, 55, and married him in Feb. 2022.

Wang registered his marriage to Ma, a 26-year-old businesswoman and online influencer, in May 2024. It has been reported that Ma was also previously divorced.
