Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan stole the limelight at the Met Gala 2025, once again showing everyone why he’s rightfully the “King Khan.” Making a much-anticipated appearance at the high-end fashion event for the first time, SRK took people’s breath away wearing an all-black outfit created by Indian couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The look has gone viral with fans and celebrities alike praising him to the hilt and none other than Kajol became part of the celebration in good old filmi style.

Kajol, Shah Rukh’s longtime co-star and friend, jumped onto Instagram to post her own take on his stunning Met Gala ensemble. Sporting all-black attire with silver accessories and rings, Kajol shared a collage of her appearance with SRK’s Met Gala photograph and cheekily wrote, “Hmmmmmmmm, spot the difference ???????????? @iamsrk #allaboutthebling #greatminds.” The tweet was a lovely tribute to their years-long friendship and their numerous iconic films together, from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to My Name Is Khan.

On the Gala red carpet, Shah Rukh Khan’s outfit consisted of a Tasmanian wool long coat worn over a black crepe de chine silk top and superfine wool tailored trousers. A pleated satin kamarbandh and statement necklaces notably a sparkling diamond ‘K’ pendant for “King Khan” completed the look, which matched the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” to perfection.
