Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has expressed his admiration for the Indian Armed Forces following their rapid and brave response to the recent terror incident in Pahalgam. He shared his thoughts on social media, highlighting the success of Operation Sindoor.

In an Instagram Story, Shami stated, "The Indian Armed Forces transformed adversity into a remarkable Fateh moment. Their bravery and valor in the face of danger fill us with pride. #operationsindoor." This message came after the security forces effectively executed Operation Sindoor, a counter-terrorism initiative launched in reaction to the deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam region.

The veteran cricketer's sentiments resonate with many across the country, as tributes have been pouring in for the armed forces' courage and precise actions that neutralized the threat.

Regarding 'Operation Sindoor', the Indian Armed Forces successfully targeted nine terror sites on Wednesday using specialized precision munitions in a well-coordinated operation. This included the destruction of four targets in Pakistan, specifically in Bahawalpur, Muridke, Sarjal, and Mehmoona Joya, along with five in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

The operation was a collaborative effort involving the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, which mobilized various assets and troops. Reports indicate that all nine targeted strikes were successful. The Indian forces aimed at locations associated with top leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), who are known for sponsoring terrorist activities in India.

This operation marks the most significant military action by India within Pakistani territory since 1971, successfully targeting terror camps in both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
