Oppo Find X8 Ultra pushes the envelope in smartphones, and if you’re following the latest trends, you’re likely aware of its impressive features. Regretfully, the eagerly anticipated gadget will not be available for purchase in India. It’s annoying, especially as this device appears to be a serious competitor to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Oppo’s most recent flagship improves upon everything we liked about its predecessor, the Find X7 Ultra.
The strong appearance of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has been updated with a new design language. With a thickness of just 8.78mm and a weight of 226 grams, the phone is incredibly light considering the premium features it contains. Oppo says this is the thinnest flagship camera on the market, and they may be correct. It feels luxurious in the hand and provides a fingerprint-free experience thanks to its flat design, curved corners, and matte glass back.
The phone comes in three different colors: Shell Pink, Matte Black, and Pure White. I reviewed the latter. The pink color seems out of the ordinary at first, but it has a subtle elegance that you soon come to appreciate. Additionally, the Hasselblad-branded rear camera module is a noticeable feature. It’s obvious that Oppo worked hard to create a visually appealing device that can compete with its rivals.
Performance-wise, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is uncompromising. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU powers this gadget, which is designed to easily tackle any task you put it through. Even with multiple programs running in the background, the phone will function efficiently thanks to its 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The Find X8 Ultra is quick in daily use, navigating between apps without any discernible latency. When it comes to gaming, the phone is a beast. The performance is excellent, sustaining high frame rates and fluid gameplay even over prolonged periods, whether you’re playing BGMI or Call of Duty Mobile.
One of the most notable aspects of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is its camera system. The phone’s quad-camera configuration, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 1-inch sensor, provides an unmatched level of clarity and detail. The phone produces amazing pictures with brilliant colors, great dynamic range, and low noise levels whether you’re shooting in bright daylight or low light.
The 50-megapixel ultrawide camera guarantees that you can record expansive landscapes without sacrificing information, and the 3x and 6x telephoto lenses provide amazing zoom capabilities. Thanks to sophisticated camera algorithms, portraits appear realistic with excellent skin tones and face details.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra boasts a sizable 6100mAh battery, a major improvement over its predecessor. The phone’s 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging and other fast-charging features allow it to reach 60% charge in less than 20 minutes. A full day of intensive use, including gaming and multimedia consumption, is readily supported by the remarkable battery life. The phone survived an amazing 23 hours and 35 minutes in our HD video loop test.
Even with all of its incredible features and upgrades, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra isn’t arriving in India. This is a major disappointment because the gadget has the capacity to compete with the top premium smartphones on the market. It is a worthwhile product because of its remarkable performance, state-of-the-art camera technology, and amazing battery life, but Indian consumers are still unable to afford it.
