The summer season disturbs everyone, and is especially difficult for young children. At this time it becomes necessary to take special care of children. Babies' skin is very delicate and during summer, the chances of rashes on their skin increases. Heat rash can cause a lot of discomfort to infants, and it is difficult for parents to guess their discomfort. Heat rash causes red spots, shells, itching and burning on the skin of infants. In such a situation, you must pay special attention to all these things to protect your baby from heat rash.
- Wear light and loose clothes. Cotton and loose fabrics allow air to reach the body easily and sweat helps to dry quickly, causing no rashes.
- Protect the excessive heat. Do not keep the baby directly in the sun or in a hot room. Keep room temperature balanced using fans or light coolers.
- Stop sweating, keep the skin dry, clean the sweat from the baby's body again and again. Where excessive sweating (such as neck, back, armpits, around the thighs), keep the skin dry there.
- Use coconut oil or aloe vera gel to cool the skin with natural coconut oil or aloe vera gel light hands. It reduces itching and irritation.
- Limit the use of diapers. In summer, keep the baby for some time without diaper so that the wind can touch the skin and does not have rashes.
- Put neem leaves or alum in bath water, adding neem leaves or some alum in light lukewarm water and bathing keeps the bacteria away and protects against heat rash.
- Use talcum powder carefully. If you use powder, do not apply it directly near the baby's face or nose. Choose medically safe and baby powder suggested by a doctor.
