According to Olympics.com, the 2025 World Squash Championships will take place from May 9–17.

Even though he is just 17, Anahat is quickly rising to the top of India’s squash betting rankings. Since winning two bronze medals in the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, two years ago, the teenage athlete has been in outstanding form.

Thanks to her string of victories, Anahat is now rated 62nd in the world, making her the top female player in India.

The Indian squash player, who won the Asian Qualifiers in Malaysia last month to earn a spot at her debut solo World Championships, will play the USA’s Marina Stefanoni, ranked 28th in the world.

The teenage player might face world No. 1 and defending champion Nouran Gohar of Egypt in the third round with a few victories.

In the men’s division, India will provide a four-front challenge with Abhay Singh, Veer Chotrani, Ramit Tandon, and Velavan Senthilkumar all wearing the tricolor, while Anahat will be the lone Indian in the women’s draw in Chicago.
