Tejashwi Yadav met the bereaved families of eight people killed in a road accident in Kursela of Katihar district

Patna: On Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), sent his condolences to the families of the eight individuals who died in a traffic accident in Kursela, Katihar district. When the deadly accident happened, the passengers were traveling to a wedding procession. Yadav shared the sorrow of the bereaved family and offered his sincerest sympathies during his visit.

“A traffic accident in Kursela, Katihar district, yesterday claimed the lives of eight individuals who were attending a wedding procession. I visited the bereaved family members of the deceased at Dibaradhani Panchayat and Latraha Panchayat in the Purnia district’s Barhara Kothi Block. I offered my sincere condolences, shared their sorrow and suffering, and prayed to Almighty God for the deceased’s peace and the injured’s quick recovery,” Tejashwi Yadav wrote on X.

The message went on to say, “The families of the deceased have suffered an irreversible loss. The party gave Rs 20,000 to the wounded and Rs 50,000 to the relatives of the eight individuals who perished in this terrible traffic accident: Shri Tuntun Mandal, Prince Kumar, Dhiraj Poddar, Jyoti Kumar, Rupesh Mandal, Shiko Kumar, Radha Mandal, and Ajay Kumar. A vehicle and tractor collided in Katihar, killing eight people.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sent his sincere sympathies for the eight fatalities in the car-tractor crash near the Chandpur Hanuman temple in the Katihar district’s Kursela police station area.

“This occurrence has been termed as extremely sad by the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said, “The Chief Minister has prayed to God to give the bereaved families the strength to bear the pain in this hour of grief.”

The CMO claims that the Bihar chief minister also hoped for the speedy recovery of the two victims of the traffic accident who are receiving treatment at Purnia Sadar Hospital.
