She continued, singling out the performer: "Olly, he's caught me, he's got star quality. That little boy caught my heart."

Olly, just 11 years old, became a sensation after his live semi-final performance on Britain's Got Talent landed him a rare second golden buzzer, placing him in an enviable position in the contest. Despite stiff competition, Olly is riding the wave of success and his recent comments reveal his astonishment, saying: "I still can't believe it."

Grateful for the acknowledgement, he said: "Every act in my semi final was brilliant so for Simon to pick me for his Golden Buzzer was amazing."

Olly detailed his preparatory strategy, adding: "I practiced three things: the audience at home by looking into the camera, the judges and finally the crowd in the theatre.

"The crowd were amazing and I could hear them singing and shouting even through my earpieces. It was brilliant! I love playing to crowds that sing along.

"All my friends say they loved me pulling my tongue out at the camera! Think the judges liked my performance too!"

Additionally, the emerging talent expressed a deep desire to make his family proud, having elegantly glided into the final.

He continued: "As a family we have always watched BGT and now to be part of it is just amazing. I still can't believe it. Getting to the final is the best feeling and I want to make everyone proud."
