A wedding celebration in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh turned into a violent brawl on Thursday evening when a dispute over raw puris escalated to kicks, punches, and gunfire. The incident took place at a Sen Samaj wedding function in the Darauni area, under the Kotwali police station limits. A total of four people, including a woman, were injured in the clash, and a viral video of the event is now circulating on social media.

According to police reports, the altercation began when guests complained about raw puris being served during the meal. What started as verbal abuse quickly turned into a physical fight, with people exchanging blows and hurling abuses. Tensions reached a boiling point when a young man pulled out a gun and fired.

As soon as the situation escalated, the Kotwali police reached the venue and took swift action. The youth who brandished the gun was immediately arrested, and a case was registered under charges of assault, disturbing peace, and illegal use of a firearm.

A video from the scene shows members of both parties engaged in a heated physical altercation. Chaos prevailed as terrified guests ran for safety. The injured individuals were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have registered an FIR and are continuing their investigation. Authorities stated they are working to identify all those involved in the violence and promised further arrests will follow based on evidence.

This shocking incident once again raises concerns about security and crowd management during public events. What should have been a night of celebration turned into a scene of terror, all because of a dispute over food.
