Renowned Pakistani journalist and TV host Iqrar ul Hassan, best known for his investigative show Sar e Aam on ARY News, recently raised serious concerns over the credibility of some leading Indian journalists. In a candid conversation with Naeem Hanif for RNN News, Iqrar criticized the Indian media for spreading misinformation and sensationalism.
Expressing his disappointment, Iqrar singled out Barkha Dutt and other prominent Indian journalists for allegedly sharing baseless reports. “This morning felt surreal—as if I had woken up in paradise—thanks to the fabricated news coming from across the border,” he remarked. “It’s unfortunate that we’re up against an adversary so obsessed with propaganda.”
He further ridiculed the false claims made by Indian news outlets, which reported capturing a Pakistani jet, taking a pilot into custody, and even ‘seizing’ the seas of Lahore and Multan—cities that, humorously, are landlocked. “Apparently, we’ve discovered new coastlines in Lahore and Multan,” he added sarcastically. “For a moment, they made it seem like Pakistan was under siege. But in reality, I enjoyed a peaceful breakfast with my son Pehlaj.”
Iqrar concluded by praising the Pakistan Army for its constant vigilance and unwavering courage. “We owe our peace and security to the brave men and women in uniform,” he said
