A viral video circulating on social media depicts individuals taking selfies and videos with an unexploded missile discovered near the Line of Control (LoC). Authorities have issued urgent warnings advising the public against touching or interacting with any explosive materials, including debris, due to the potential for serious injury or fatality.
The footage, reportedly originating from Punjab, captures several people engaging with what seems to be an unexploded missile from Pakistan, possibly a remnant from recent conflicts along the LoC. In the video, individuals are seen laughing, joking, and even singing while posing near the hazardous object.
In one segment of the video, a young man is seen lifting the missile while others gather around to take pictures. This reckless behavior has raised alarms among journalists and officials alike.
Gagandeep Singh, the journalist who shared the video, cautioned viewers: “Please do not touch or handle any such explosive material, as it can cause serious injury or loss of life.”
Officials are urging anyone who encounters such objects to report them to the authorities immediately and to keep a safe distance from any suspicious items.
