Many physical and mental changes occur in the female body after pregnancy and delivery. One of the important changes is the loosening of the vagina, which affects not only the sex life of the woman but also the recurrent infections and physical health. However, to correct this problem, women can tighten the vagina again by doing 3 special pelvic strengthening exercises. These exercises are especially effective for women who feel looseness in the vaginal muscles due to childbirth, aging or other reasons.
Causes of loose vagina:
During normal delivery, the muscles around the vagina are stretched, which reduces the tightness of the vagina. If the woman does not take care of her muscles after delivery, they are not able to return to their original position. Apart from this, lack of estrogen hormone in increasing age and frequent urinary tract infections can also cause looseness of the vagina.
3 exercises to bring natural tightening in the vagina:
Kegel exercise:
To do the Kegel exercise, first identify your pelvic floor muscles. To do this, try to pause in between urinations. The muscles you use are the pelvic floor muscles. Now, with an empty bladder, contract these muscles for 5-10 seconds and then relax for 5-10 seconds. Repeat this process 10-15 times and do it 2-3 times a day. Doing this exercise regularly strengthens the pelvic floor muscles, which reduces the problem of urine leakage, increases sexual arousal, and also prepares the body of women for menopause.
Squats:
To do squats, bend down with feet shoulder-width apart, as if you are sitting on a chair, then get back up. Do 2-3 sets of 15 of this exercise. Squats strengthen the pelvic floor and lower body muscles.
Bridge Exercise:
To perform the bridge exercise, lie on your back, bend your knees and place your feet on the ground. Now slowly raise your hips up while contracting the pelvic floor muscles. Hold for 5-10 seconds, then slowly come down. Do this process for 2 sets of 12. This exercise strengthens the pelvic floor and glutes muscles, and it helps to tone the hips and lower body, which also improves body posture.
