Finally, the wait is over for Vande Bharat Express as it will be commencing its services for railway passengers in Madhya Pradesh very soon.

MP Getting A Brand New Vande Bharat Express

It appears that the central state of India is all set to receive another Vande Bharat Express train, which is expected to commence its operations from the next month.

This new addition in Vande Bharat Express train which is slated to start its operations in June will run between Bhopal and Lucknow.

But considering its popularity, people are  demanding to operate this Vande Bharat Express from Indore as well.

So far, this proposal is under the scrutiny of the Railway Board.

In the meantime, Indore MP, Shankar Lalwani, along with other public representatives are actively pursuing this demand.

According to them this demand is driven by the needs of daily commuters travelling between Indore, Bhopal, and beyond.

Now coming back to the upcoming entry, this Vande Bharat Express would be connecting nine major cities during its journey from Madhya Pradesh to Uttara Pradesh as informed by the railway officials.

A Push To Operate From Indore

While the Bhopal-Lucknow route is confirmed, the push to operate the train from Indore is gaining momentum.

So far, there are four weekly trains connecting Indore and Lucknow having consistently limited seat availability.

The situation is so much worse that these trains see waiting lists of up to 150 even on ordinary days which soar to over 300 during festivals.

But, operating the Bhopal-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express from Indore would significantly improve passenger convenience.

Considering the fact, the Indore MP Shankar Lalwani has submitted a proposal to the railways.

In response to this, the Railway Board is also  giving this proposal serious consideration reportedly.

Meanwhile, the proposed Lucknow Vande Bharat is expected to commence operations by the end of June.

While all this is happening, the Lucknow Rail Division will soon receive the train set as indicated by the Railway officials.

For the people wondering regarding the train schedule, it will run six days a week.

So far, its schedule is being finalised by the Lucknow Rail Division.

It would be connecting approximately 9 Major Cities from MP & UP including Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Lucknow.

The proposed Vande Bharat Express will depart from Lucknow in the morning and return from Bhopal to Lucknow in the evening as per the information given by the Railway officials.

During its run, the new Vande Bharat Express will approximately cover the  600 km journey, connecting around nine major cities in both states, including Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Lucknow.

It is expected that the final schedule will be released between the end of May and the first week of June.
