After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, it was expected to rise before the market opened on Monday. After the rise in other stock markets in Asia, BSE Sensex started trading at a level of 80,803.80 from its previous closed 79,454.47, more than 1500 points. After this, its growth continued to grow throughout the day. The Sensex rose 2975.43 points or 3.74% to 82,429.90 until the market was closed.
Like the Sensex, the Nifty also took an edge as soon as the market opened and climbed to 24,420 as compared to the previous closed 24,008 and in a short time it showed 582.75 points to be trading at 24,593.75. In the last hour of business, the Nifty ran like a rocket. The Nifty-50 closed at 24,924.70 with a rise of 916.70 points or 3.82%.

On Monday, the shares of 28 companies out of the top 30 companies in the Sensex managed to make a long jump. Infosys Limited’s shares in the Sensex closed up more than 7 percent. Similarly, Tata Steel, HCL, Eaterial (Zomato), TCS, Tech Mahindra have closed up more than 5 percent. However, shares of Sunforma and IndusInd Bank have fallen by 3-3 percent. The Sensex has an upper circuit in shares of 504 companies on Monday. Today, there were a total of 4254 stock trades in the Sensex, out of which 3542 shares saw an increase.
