There are fears a person could be carrying a bomb aboard a Ryanair flight currently stationed at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) in Belgium. A "bomb alert" was issued on the flight, coming from Porto in Portugal, just before 11am, a spokesperson for the airport has told local news outlet RTL Info.
The publication reports that passengers have not been evacuated yet. The BSCA spokesperson said: "This Tuesday morning, shortly before 11am, a bomb threat was reported on a flight from Porto.
"The plane landed as planned at Charleroi Airport, where it was parked away from normal operations."
Ryanair has been approached for comment.
