Matteo Moretto reports that Napoli are close to reaching an agreement with Benfica midfielder Florentino and have sent a €40m bid, including add-ons for Heorhiy Sudakov.
Napoli are moving quickly to strengthen their squad for next season, when they will return to the Champions League.
AS Matteo Moretto (via Calciomercato.com) reported, the Serie A leaders are close to reaching an agreement with Benfica midfielder Florentino.
Napoli bid for Shakhtar star Sudakov
According to the report, the 25-year-old Portugal international has been offered a five-year contract worth €2.5m per season. Napoli are confident they’ll reach an agreement with the player soon, but they are yet to shake hands with Benfica.
At the same time, the Azzurri have also sent an offer for Shakhtar talent Sudakov, putting on the table €35m plus €5m add-ons. Moretto also confirms Napoli’s interest in Lille striker Jonathan David.
The summer transfer window officially starts in July, but Napoli seem to be pretty busy in transfer negotiations already, as several sources have reported that the Partenopei are also in talks with Kevin De Bruyne, who is available as a free agent, given that his contract with Manchester City expires in June.
