UP Revenue Department Jobs 2025: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big step towards giving relief to the public in land related matters soon. Preparations have been expedited to fill thousands of posts lying vacant in the Revenue Department for a long time. After the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, now the process of recruitment of a total of 9640 posts on important posts like Lekhpal, Naib Tehsildar and Revenue Clerk is going to start.

In a recent review meeting, the Chief Minister had ordered the officials to fill the vacant posts in the Revenue Department as soon as possible by running a campaign, so that the land related matters can be expedited. After this, now the recruitment proposals have been sent to the concerned commissions.

Who has the most posts?

According to the state government's plan, the maximum recruitment of 7531 Lekhpal posts will be done. These posts will be filled through Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). These vacancies were pending for years in the total 30,837 posts of Lekhpal.

At the same time, 353 posts of Naib Tehsildar are vacant. The proposal for their recruitment has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The total number of posts of Naib Tehsildar is 1234.

Apart from this, 4694 vacant posts of Revenue Clerk will also be filled soon. Of these, 2938 posts will be filled through promotion and 1756 posts through direct recruitment. The promotion process has started at the Revenue Council level and the proposal has been sent to the Commission for direct recruitment.
