Kamals conditions were not to sign a film with another director not to wear revealing clothes to reach home before 6 pm and no man to be allowed in the makeup room. Lost in love Meena Kumari accepted these conditions with a wide smile; however how would she manage it as a heroine and what would be the repercussions even she didnt think it through? Even though Kamal loved Meena Kumari immensely he would always torture her. After marriage Meena Kumaris life had completely changed. She could neither cry nor laugh openly. Later in 1964 due to a fight between them they separated. She couldnt take this trauma and later she resorted to abuse of alcohol which badly affected her liver.
