A few days prior, Wang Xiaofei also shared how he and Ma rushed back to Taipei to celebrate Wang Hsi Lin’s birthday after a business trip in Bali.

“Yesterday, we spent the whole day celebrating our son’s birthday with the two cakes he chose,” Wang wrote on social media. “Thank you, son, for always encouraging us.”

In the photos he shared, Ma and Wang Hsi Lin were seen shopping for toys, drawing, and doing crafts together, showing a warm and joyful interaction throughout their time together.

Previously, Ma had also shared moments of preparing a birthday party for Wang Hsi Yueh, the 11-year-old daughter of Wang Xiaofei and Hsu. The interactions between Ma and Hsu’s two children have been met with praise from the public.

Barbie Hsu, known for her roles in popular dramas such as “Meteor Garden,” “Mars,” and “Summer’s Desire,” passed away at the age of 49 in Japan due to complications from pneumonia, her family announced on Feb. 3.

Hsu and Wang Xiaofei married in 2011 and divorced in 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.” After their divorce, Hsu rekindled her relationship with her former boyfriend, 55-year-old South Korean musician DJ Koo, and they remarried in Feb. 2022.

Wang Xiaofei moved on to register his marriage to Ma, a 26-year-old businesswoman and online influencer, in May 2024. The couple is set to hold their wedding ceremony on Saturday.
