The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus is all set for another big launch in India as its OnePlus Nord 5 is surrounded by speculations.
As we already know that this is currently focused on bringing the OnePlus 13s to the Indian market which is expected to hit by mid-May or early June.
There are speculations that the Nord 5 could follow closely behind reportedly.

The OnePlus Nord 5 will sport a plastic mid-frame with a glass back to balance weight and premium aesthetics as suggested by the leaks.
Further, the device is expected to feature dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
There is a hint at three colour options provided with this smartphone including – Green, Silver and Black–classic Nord shades.
The OnePlus Nord 5 is likely to come with a 6.77-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus Nord is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e which is again a more affordable variant of MediaTek’s flagship chip.
This simply indicates a departure from the Snapdragon chipset which is used in the Nord 4 and will also help in improving the gaming and artificial intelligence performance.
Moving ahead, this smartphone may come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, depending on the region.
The smartphone is likely to run on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15.
For the cameras, the leaks point to a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens together with a 16-megapixel front shooter.
If you are wondering about the prices, the OnePlus Nord 5 is tipped to be launched at a starting price of around Rs 30,000, keeping it firmly in the mid-range category.
When it comes to the launch date, the OnePlus Nord 4 made its entry in April 2024 so we are expecting that the Nord 5 will also arrive in India by late June or July 2025.
