Get the SIM card blocked

If your phone gets stolen somewhere. Then you should first get your SIM blocked. Because your mobile number is linked to your bank account. It is linked to your Aadhar card. In such a situation, if it falls into someone's hands. Then your account can be defrauded. Apart from this, your Aadhar can also be misused. After which you can go to the SIM operator and get another SIM of the same number.

Get the mobile blocked

After losing the mobile, you should immediately get it blocked. You can also use this facility online. For this, you will have to go to the official website of Central Equipment Identity Register i.e. CEIR https://www.ceir.gov.in/Home/index.jsp. Here you will have to enter information related to your mobile. In which you will need mobile number, IMEI number and important details. After getting the mobile, you can also unblock the mobile from here.

Register an FIR with the police

If your mobile gets stolen, then first of all you should go to your nearest police station and register an FIR. After registering the FIR, if any illegal work is done with your mobile, then you will not be responsible for it. Along with this, a copy of the FIR will also be useful to get your SIM blocked and to get your mobile phone blocked.
