CBSE 2025: Schedule For Marks Verification, Re-evaluation Released; Check Important Dates Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the schedule for verification of marks and re-evaluation of Class 10 and 12 students who took the 2025 board exams. This year, the board has rolled out a revised post-result process to enhance transparency and reduce errors in evaluation. In the new system, the students will also be provided with a scanned copy of their marked answer sheets for selected subjects. This enables them to check their performance and determine any gross marking errors. In the possibility of discrepancies, the students can complain to the board.The process will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, students may apply for getting scanned copies of their answer sheets. In the second stage, upon checking the scanned copies, students may choose verification of marks, re-evaluation of individual answers, or both. This modification gives students more control over their outcomes and makes them better aware of the assessment process. Steps for CBSE 2025 Post-Result ProcessStep 1: Students can request scanned copies of their marked answer sheets for the respective subjects.Step 2: Once they checked the scanned copies, students can apply for any of the mentioned below:- Verification of marks- Re-evaluation of particular answers- Both verification of marks and re-evaluationFor Class 12, the window for application for scanned copies will be opened on May 21, 2025, whereas for Class 10, the students can apply from May 27, 2025. The fee for acquiring a scanned answer sheet will Rs 700 per subject for Class 12 and Rs 500 per subject for Class 10. The facility of verification of marks will start from June 3 for Class 10 and May 28 for Class 12. A processing fee of ₹500 per subject for verification and ₹100 per subject for re-evaluation applications will have to be paid by the students.CBSE has advised students to thoroughly read all the instructions given before opting for any of the re-evaluation services so that they do not face inconvenience.
