has been called out by royal watchers after she appeared to miss a huge detail when earlier this week. The Duchess of Sussex , May 19, to thank all those "who have loved and supported us throughout our love story" by posting from the last seven years.

Among the images were numerous pictures of Meghan and Harry embracing, and one of the Duke tenderly cradling the head of one of their children as a swaddled newborn. There was also a baby scan labelled Archie, a photo of Archie kissing Lili on the forehead, as well as a number of notes including a central one in Meghan's handwriting reading "Our love story".

Meghan captioned the post: "Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories.

"Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!"

The accompanying music was The Proclaimers' hit track I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). Shortly after, Meghan's brand, As Ever, made a new post about the Sussex couple on its own Instagram account.

The post featured two images - one showing two palm trees together and another one showing Harry and Meghan smiling lovingly at each other. The snap was taken by a photographer and Meghan's pal, Jake Rosenberg, who was credited in the post.

It was captioned: "Sometimes two is better than one. Wishing a very happy anniversary to our founder @meghan and her husband Prince Harry."

But royal watchers appeared to criticise the Duchess online for failing to mention her husband explicitly in her post, while others mocked her for "wishing herself a happy anniversary" from her brand's account.

One user wrote on X: "She wished herself a happy anniversary [laughing face emoji]"

Another one said: "No happy anniversary to Harry and his back is completely to the camera."

A third one added: "I love the fact Meghan wished herself a happy anniversary in the third person, pretending that As Ever has actual staff and it's not just her on her phone."

However, others praised the Duchess for her tribute, with one user saying on Instagram: "My heart is going bombom them what a beautiful love story!"

A second one wrote: "Loved this! Happy Anniversary @meghan!!"

A third one added: "The memory board is beautiful."

A fourth one concluded: "Such a lovely collection of pics and a nice touch that she credited the photographers. Class act always!"
