CUET UG 2025: The Testing Agency (NTA) has made an important announcement for the candidates who appeared for the Accountancy subject exam under the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. Students who appeared in the Accountancy paper between 13 to 16 May 2025 are being allowed to re-appear in the exam as per the revised exam pattern. For this, NTA has opened a portal, where interested candidates can register their consent to appear in the re-examination till 1 pm on 23 May 2025.

Candidates have to log in to the cuet.nta.nic.On the website and fill out the "Re-test Consent" form. This is an optional option, that is, only those students who want to take the exam again choose this option. Once the consent to appear in the exam again is given, the answer sheet of the earlier exam will not be considered valid. Details about the date, time, and centre of CUET UG retest 2025 will be notified soon on the official website.

"Candidates are advised to keep a check on the NTA website https://nta.ac.in and https://cuet pta nic in for latest updates regarding the exam," NTA said.

CUET UG 2025: Rules prescribed by NTA for Accountancy Retest
This retest is only for those candidates who appeared in the Accountancy exam held between May 13 and 16, 2025.

If a candidate appears in the retest, his/her final score will be decided based on the marks obtained in the retest only.

The marks obtained in the first attempt will not be valid, i.e. only the marks of the retest will be considered final.

If a candidate consents to the retest but does not appear in the exam, he/she will be treated as absent and will not get any marks.

For those candidates who do not apply for retest, their first attempt score (13–16 May) will be considered as final.
