Aly Goni faces backlash for calling girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin 'chapri'; fans call him a 'red flag'

Aly Goni 's recent joke about his actress girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin has disappointed netizens. Recently, the Laughter Chefs participant used Instagram stories to post a vintage photo of Jasmin standing in a white crop top and trousers. Sharing the photo, Aly inquired, "Kya Jasmin chapri hai (Is Jasmin tacky)" and added a laughing emoji. Jasmin also tweeted a sketch of Aly with the caption, "Kya Aly chapri hai (Is Aly tacky)."
Even though Aly was joking around with his ladylove on social media , the "chapri" joke did not go over well with the internet. Several users went to Reddit to call out Aly and express their disgust with his statements. While some criticised him for disrespecting his girlfriend, others labelled him a " red flag ".
"Who posts like this for your girlfriend, man?" one of the users commented. "Bruh, this guy is such a red flag, it's unreal," said another. They were also referred to as "a weird couple " by one netizen. "They both are d**b actually, it's not even funny but still Jasmin posted a sketch of him but Aly posting this picture gives me eww," another user remarked.
Recently the duo moved in together in their new lavish apartment. While leaving their old homes for this new journey, both of them got emotional and shared their memories, Aly said, "I don't know where to start. I am really happy that Jasmin and I are moving together but somewhere I am very sad because it is not easy to leave the house where you have spent so many years. I have been living in this apartment for the past 4 years, it's the most difficult part to leave. Itni saari yaadein hai, bura time, accha time, sab dekha hai iss ghar mein."
While Jasmin wrote, "Never thought it will make me so emotional to leave this space which I made my home, my safe place. As I always say, your firsts are always special — this one will be too special because I built it and decorated every corner of this house with so much love and every penny that I earned over years with my hard work. Will miss you, my Santosh Niwas."
