New Delhi: A refreshing new K-drama, Our Unwritten Seoul, is set to make its much-anticipated debut on May 24. Led by Park Bo-young and GOT7’s Jinyoung, the romantic coming-of-age drama will be streamed globally via Netflix, while viewers in South Korea will be able to tune in through TVING.
The series, formerly titled UNknown SEOUL, has been directed by Park Shin-woo and written by Lee Kang. A tale centred on identity, siblinghood, and second chances will be explored through the lives of twin sisters Yoo Mi-rae and Yoo Mi-ji, both portrayed by Park Bo-young. While one has built a stable corporate life, the other struggles to find footing after a shattered sports career.
Yoo Mi-rae, the elder twin, has been portrayed as the epitome of discipline, an academic overachiever who transitions smoothly into a high-functioning office worker. On the flip side, Yoo Mi-ji, once a budding short-distance runner, finds herself drifting through part-time gigs following a career-halting accident. Her bleach-blonde hair and defiant attitude sharply contrast with her sister’s polished exterior. Despite appearances, both sisters wrestle with internal dilemmas that threaten to upend their lives.
The narrative takes a dramatic turn when the twins decide to switch places. Their choice to live each other’s lives opens up unexpected challenges and opportunities for healing. In this altered reality, they encounter two distinct male leads. Jinyoung plays Lee Ho-su, a successful but emotionally scarred lawyer. Meanwhile, Ryu Kyung-soo steps in as Han Se-jin, a former corporate hopeful who’s traded it all to cultivate strawberries on a quiet farm.

The drama’s essence lies not only in the switch but also in how identity, love, and personal transformation are tackled through nuanced storytelling. Audiences can expect layered characters, emotional conflict, and slow-burn romance, all underpinned by relatable struggles. Episodes one and two of Our Unwritten Seoul will premiere back-to-back on May 24 and 25 at 9:20 PM KST (5:50 PM IST / 8:20 AM EST). A total of 12 episodes will be released weekly on Saturdays and Sundays until June 29.
