Kanpur Road Accident: On Tuesday morning, a horrific accident occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the district’s Araul sector, injuring up to 25 persons, including women and children. Two buses traveling from Delhi to Gonda collided, causing the catastrophe.

When the driver of a tourist bus tried to pass another bus in front of it, the accident happened. As soon as police arrived on the site after learning about the tragedy, they hurried the wounded to local hospitals. A number of critically ill patients were sent to Hallet Hospital for more sophisticated care.

The Accident’s Cause
On Tuesday morning, a serious accident involving two buses on their way from Delhi to Gonda occurred close to Makanpur hamlet in the Araul region. Reports said that a major accident broke out between the two cars as the bus in front of the tourist bus tried to pass it.

One of the buses lost control and overturned as a result of the incident. About twenty-five people from both busses were hurt in the collision. Both cars were seriously damaged.

Passengers were crying for assistance, and the situation was characterized by confusion and terror. The police were promptly informed by one of the passengers. ACP Bilhaur Amarnath Yadav and a police squad quickly arrived at the site.

Those stuck inside the buses were quickly rescued by emergency personnel, who also took the wounded to local hospitals. According to reports, a number of passengers—including women and children—were in severe condition and were sent to Hallet Hospital for further care.
