New Delhi: In the nation’s capital, the Delhi administration, headed by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, concludes its first 100 days in office. On the occasion, the state government has published a “workbook” that highlights significant public welfare programs, such as the Mahila Samman Yojana, the Ayushman Bharat project, and the Yamuna River cleanup effort.

On February 20, Rekha Gupta took the oath of office as Chief Minister of Delhi. In the Assembly elections, the BJP won 48 seats, forcing the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party into the opposition with 22 seats and becoming the government in the nation’s capital after 27 years. For the third time in a row, the Congress was unable to secure a single seat.

Along with her cabinet members Ashish Sood and Kapil Mishra, CM Gupta introduced a workbook called “Kam karne wali Sarkar-100 din seva ke” that highlighted the government’s major projects in the fields of infrastructure, welfare, health, and education. These include a Rs 51,000 crore budgetary allotment for the Mahila Samman Yojana, a monthly aid program for low-income women, and funding for the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The Yamuna cleaning plan, street lighting, Vay Vandana Yojana, establishing Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, and flagging DEVI buses were a few of the workbook’s major initiatives.

“We are very happy and satisfied that the rights the people of Delhi deserve are being delivered with full dedication by the government,” stated Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in celebration of the 100th day of the Delhi government. Viksit Delhi will undoubtedly advance and see major growth in tandem with Viksit Bharat.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi will host a special event on May 31 to provide a detailed presentation of the government’s efforts.

“On May 31, a special event will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi to commemorate the 100th day of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi administration. “A comprehensive overview of the government’s significant accomplishments, welfare programs, and a 100-day action plan will be provided on this occasion,” CM Gupta said during a news conference.

As shown by PM Modi ji, our government is proceeding along the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas” road. In keeping with this course, the Delhi chief minister said in a post on X that the workbook will be handed in every assembly so that the public may learn more about the job being done by their elected administration.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student organization connected to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was where Rekha Gupta began her political career.

She attended Daulat Ram College at Delhi University and was involved in advocating for student problems while serving as President of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) from 1996 to 1997.

In 2007, while serving as a councilor from North Pitampura, she pushed to build parks and libraries, among other essential community services. She founded the non-profit organization AAS and has also worked toward an LLB. In 2023, Shelly Oberoi of the AAP defeated her in the mayoral race.

The Delhi BJP administration was criticized by the Aam Aadmi Party, which called it “100 days of destruction.”

“100 days of destruction by the BJP government is just a trailer; the full picture of the BJP’s ‘destruction model’ is yet to come,” the AAP said on X.

Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav blasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Delhi on Friday for the “deteriorating” peace and order in the nation’s capital and for not fulfilling important electoral pledges. Yadav said that when the BJP-led government marks 100 days in power, it is the party’s “duty” to inquire about the suffering endured by the people of Delhi.
