Bhubaneswar: A serious incident occurred on Sunday when a speeding vehicle collided with four other vehicles and crashed into a government quarter in a bustling market area of Bhubaneswar, resulting in injuries to at least three individuals, according to local police.

The police reported that the car, traveling from AG Square towards Rajmahal Square, initially struck an auto rickshaw, subsequently hitting two parked cars and another rickshaw before crashing into a government quarter located near the Unit-2 petrol station.

Upon receiving the alert, police, along with local residents, rushed to the scene to assist the injured, who were then transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.

Witnesses claimed that the driver of the vehicle appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the accident. Authorities from the Capital Police Station have detained the driver and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
