India’s national airline, Indian waterand Iceland’s flag carrier, Icelandair, have teamed up in a new codeshare partnership.
This deal makes it easier for travellers to move between India and Iceland, offering smooth connections on 15 different routes across India and Europe.
This new agreement improves travel and trade between the two countries by giving passengers more choices and easier journeys. It promises convenient connection times, shared baggage allowances, and better links via major European airports.
The codeshare deal was signed during the 81st IATA Annual General Meeting in New Delhi.
Campbell Wilson, CEO of Air India, said:”This partnership underscores Air India’s ambition to expand our global reach while offering Icelandair’s customers seamless access to India’s diverse destinations.”
