New Delhi: Samsung is planning to launch new foldable models, with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 being introduced this year. Surprisingly, the South Korean tech company has announced it may be adding a new model to its foldable lineup: the “Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra”. On that same date, Samsung announced the phone on its website under the heading “Next Chapter of Ultra” as a teaser. It is likely that an Ultra model of the Galaxy Z Fold is being designed.
It is mentioned in the teaser video and blog post that the new device will have new hardware, advanced AI and a thinner body. Samsung claims it is fulfilling users’ expectations for bigger screens, better camera features and smarter ways to communicate. Though not much is known, Samsung has revealed that this device will be a book-style foldable, and it will come with Galaxy AI for hands-free voice commands, texting, web browsing and gaming.
In the preview, Samsung mentioned that the new device uses both art and engineering to make daily interactions better. Although the “Ultra” brand has appeared on the Galaxy S series, it is only now being linked with the Galaxy Z Fold series. It is thought that the new device will join the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, with all these models expected to show up at a Galaxy Unpacked event later this year.
Samsung says the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra will benefit from AI-powered tools and more AI features than ever, turning it into a powerful, advanced foldable. When unfolded, the device may take great photos and turn into a place for entertainment and handling multiple tasks. While Samsung has mentioned an Ultra model for its foldables before, this is the first time we have solid proof it might happen. Further details on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra are expected soon.
