Ahmedabad, 5 June – The weather has taken a turn before the monsoon knock in Gujarat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rains in many districts of the state. According to the latest update, there is a possibility of rain in different parts of Gujarat for the next 7 days. There are signs of heavy rains in South Gujarat today, while Ahmedabad also forecast light to moderate rain.
Heavy rains are expected in South Gujarat
According to the Meteorological Department, currently the system of cyclonic circulation is active in the upper air. Due to this system, heavy rains may occur in Diu, Valsad, Daman, Surat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli in South Gujarat. The local administration has been instructed to be vigilant in these areas.
Chance of rain in Saurashtra and Kutch also
The weather in the state’s Saurashtra and Kutch region also seems to be changed. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain. This rain may bring relief for farmers and local residents, especially at a time when farming preparations are gaining momentum.
Weather pleasant in Ahmedabad, possibility of rain
The weather is also likely to be pleasant in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain here. The temperature in the city is likely to be slightly below normal for the next three days. The maximum temperature will be around 37 degrees Celsius, while the winds will run at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, which is expected to provide some relief in the summer.
