Instead, she focused on her upcoming film, Materialists, directed and written by Celine Song, whom Johnson expressed her admiration for after watching the Oscar-nominated film, Past Lives. The actress and Meyers humorously referred to the new project as a 'rom-dramedy.'

This decision to remain silent came just a day after news broke about her split from the Coldplay lead singer, marking the end of their nearly eight-year relationship.

Prior to her late-night appearance, Johnson was seen leaving The Greenwich Hotel in New York City.

The actress, known for her role in 50 Shades of Grey, began dating Martin in 2017, and their relationship had its ups and downs over the years before they ultimately decided to part ways.
