EV charging hassle ends, Google Maps will tell the nearest charging station

Ev charging stations on google maps: Nowadays the trend of electric vehicles is increasing rapidly, but the facility of charging still remains a big concern. Especially when you are on a long distance journey, it may seem difficult to find a charging station on the way. But now this will not happen, because through Google Maps, you can easily detect the EV charging point around you.

Know how this easy way works

1. Open Google Maps in your phone

First of all start the Google Maps app in your mobile. If the app is not already, it can be installed for free from Google Play Store or iOS App Store.

2. Type “Ev Charging Station”

Search by writing “Ev Charging Station” in the search box of maps. If you want, you can also write it “EV charging station” in Hindi.

3. List of nearest charging location will be found

As soon as you search, the entire list of charging stations around you and their location will start appearing on the map.

4. Choose your need station by filter

Google Maps also shows you which stations are still open, which types of charger are present there (eg Type 2, CCS or Chademo), and how fast charging is-fast or normal. Also you can see:

  • Station user rating
  • Review of users
  • Which network is connected (eg Tata Power, Static, Athar Grid etc.)

5. Find the way and start traveling

Choose the option of ‘Directions’ by tapping the station you find right. Now just click on ‘Start’ and Google Maps will make you directly there.

6. Plan ‘Ev-friendly’ root for long drive

If you are going somewhere, then enter your destination information and use the “Add Charging Stops” feature. Which charging points will come on the way, they will already start appearing on the map.

Now no charging tension

With this facility of Google Maps, EV users no longer need to think where the charge will be received. Following the nearest station, it is now a few seconds work. Just pick up the phone and open the maps – the rest of the work will be done by itself.
