Jadon Sancho is attracting attention from three Premier League clubs and appears set to make another move this summer. Ruben Amorim has made the decision that the former England international will not be part of his first-team squad and reportedly has no plans to incorporate him into the line-up.
Chelsea officially confirmed their decision not to make Sancho's move permanent as they announced their Club World Cup squad on Wednesday. The Blues were obliged to cough up £5million to return the winger to United after meeting the conditions to make the deal permanent.
According to , Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Newcastle are all monitoring the 25-year-old's situation as the Red Devils seek to arrange an exit. Each club could give Sancho the chance to face United if signed permanently, where he would be eager to seek revenge for his torrid time at Old Trafford.
Unai Emery's side favour a loan deal for the former Borussia Dortmund star, however, having taken Marcus Rashford on a temporary basis in January.
United would rather sell to boost their funds during a busy summer of rebuilding, as they aim to rejuvenate Amorim's squad. The club have already splashed out £62.5m on Matheus Cunha and a hefty fee is anticipated to secure Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
Sancho could see a return to Champions League action if a transfer to Newcastle or Tottenham was finalised. It is suggested that both sides view Sancho as 'a strong option' as they strive to assemble squads capable of competing on multiple fronts in 2025/26.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund ace, who has also piqued the interest of his former team, had a solid if not spectacular loan stint at Chelsea last season. Sancho made 45 appearances, aiding Chelsea in their UEFA Conference League victory and securing a spot in the Champions League.
However, his tally of five goals and 10 assists failed to persuade Enzo Maresca's squad to prolong his tenure. The player, who transferred to Old Trafford from Dortmund in a £73m deal, is also attracting attention from across Europe.
Dortmund have requested to be informed about any updates regarding his future. And Chelsea's interest in Jamie Gittens might trigger some action, although the German team have already recruited Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland this summer.
Gittens is reported to have already settled terms with Chelsea, but the Blues were unable to finalise a deal with the Bundesliga titans in time for the Club World Cup. It remains uncertain whether they will return with another proposal.
Sancho's wages could pose a challenge as United strive to offload their surplus star. This could lead to another loan being contemplated for the forward, who has already had two loan spells away from the club.
